Life At Best Development Initiative (LABDI)‘s closed its last project year on a truly encouraging note with a field visit from the Save the Children International Regional Director of Operations, Miyuki Sato, to LABDI’s implementation sites in Magumeri LGA, Borno State.
Beyond the meetings and site tours, what stood out most was the opportunity to listen directly to communities and partners. Engaging with project beneficiaries and key Child Protection and Education stakeholders—including Community-Based Child Protection Committee members, School-Based Management Committee members, Head Teachers, Education Secretaries, and Quality Assurance Officers—provided her team and her first-hand insight into how the Norad – Norwegian Agency for Development Cooperation-supported project is strengthening child protection systems and improving access to quality education at the community level.
These moments of shared learning reaffirm why community-centered programming remains at the heart of our work.
LABDI sincerely appreciates Norad – Norwegian Agency for Development Cooperation for trusting the organization’s capacity to deliver impact, and extend its gratitude to Save the Children International for their consistent guidance, partnership, and support.
Stepping into 2026, LABDI reaffirms its commitment to deepening impact, strengthening partnerships, and reaching even more lives with meaningful, sustainable interventions.
