Our causes and interventions
LABDI operates across seven thematic areas aimed at enhancing the well-being and resilience of vulnerable communities. These include Protection (ensuring safety from harm, particularly for women and children), Access to Quality Education (providing safe learning spaces for children in crisis), Health (supporting reproductive health, nutrition, and WASH services), and Climate Change (promoting environmental resilience and sustainable development). The organization also focuses on Food Security and Livelihoods (empowering affected populations through income-generating activities), Good Governance (advocating for inclusive policies, accountability, and peacebuilding), and Research, Monitoring, and Evaluation (driving program innovation through participatory learning and accountability). Through these pillars, LABDI works to protect rights, reduce vulnerability, and foster sustainable development in crisis-affected regions.
